I hope that this experience will allow me to transition into a more strategic role within my industry upon graduation.

What led you to take the Cambridge MBA?

I chose to pursue an MBA in order to position myself well for future leadership roles, proactively address gaps in my academic and professional experiences, and to gain international experience. I hope the Cambridge MBA experience will allow me to transition into a more strategic role within my industry. I was attracted to the Cambridge MBA due to the collegiate system, small class size, and focus on experiential learning.

Describe the biggest accomplishment in your career so far

After completing my undergraduate degree, I worked for discount retailer Target Canada in a supply chain analyst role. As a start-up, the organisation struggled to implement new processes, one of which related to promotional forecasting. I took ownership for implementing the process with my team resulting in improved in-stock rates and sales during promotions. Having this level of impact at such an early stage of my career was incredibly gratifying.

How do you feel about being awarded a scholarship or bursary?

As an individual who is self-financing my MBA, I am extremely grateful for the generosity of the Benavitch family. Pursuing an MBA is a major investment and this scholarship helps to reduce the financial burden associated with it. In addition, I am honoured to have been recognised for my previous academic achievements.

Something that not many people know about you

As a health and fitness enthusiast I spend most of my free time weight-lifting, running, or rock climbing. I hope to add rowing to this list while in Cambridge.
