Back to scholarship-recipients

Since I am self-financing my MBA, I couldn't be more grateful to the Cambridge Admissions Team and the Forté Foundation for their support. I feel honoured to have been awarded the fellowship and look forward to getting involved in Women in Leadership initiatives across the year.

What led you to take the Cambridge MBA?

As one of the top one-year MBA programmes in the world, Cambridge MBA has been on my radar for quite some time. I must admit though that it was the interview day that has truly convinced me that CJBS is the right place for me. During the two-day event, I had a chance to meet the class of 2018, participate in a careers workshop and get to know fellow candidates during a formal dinner at Queens' College. In addition, I explored Cambridge itself and fell in love with the city's architecture and atmosphere, not to mention the famous Chelsea buns from Fitzbillies Café!

Describe the biggest accomplishment in your career so far?

I am most proud of developing and implementing a training programme aiming at upskilling contact centre agents at a large financial services group to train to become conversational analysts.

How do you feel about being awarded your scholarship?

Since I am self-financing my MBA, I couldn't be more grateful to both the admissions team at CJBS and the Forté Foundation for their generosity and support. I feel honoured to have been awarded the fellowship and look forward to getting involved in Women in Leadership initiatives at CJBS this year.

What do you want to get out of the MBA most of all in the next year?

I would like to further improve my leadership and communication skills as well as bolster my confidence. In my Cambridge MBA application I have mentioned that my biggest failure so far is that I avoided taking risks and so I'd like to see myself make a bold decision or two.

Where do you see your MBA journey taking you in your future career?

That's a great question! I have a few ideas at the moment that I would like to explore during my year. I am particularly passionate about Artificial Intelligence and Social Innovation so a career that would allow me to pursue both of these interests would be my preference.

Something that not many people know about you

Not many people know that I am an avid fan of the Wars of the Roses as well as the Tudor period and can often be found exploring places of historic significance.
