Pursuing an MBA at Cambridge will boost my skills and career in the Energy sector and the Energy concentration perfectly suits my post-MBA goals.

What led you to take the Cambridge MBA?

I was seeking career growth and a new challenge but opportunities in my current company were very limited because of the oil and gas downturn. I decided that pursuing an MBA at Cambridge would boost my skills and career in the Energy sector and the Energy concentration perfectly suits my post-MBA goals. I have two young children and Cambridge provides an ideal setting for my family to also be a part of the adventure.

Describe the biggest accomplishment in your career so far

In my last position, I was appointed to grow business in Asia-Pacific and relocated from UK to Singapore. I won several major projects from China to Australia and more than doubled revenue over five years, raising Asia’s profile from smallest region in 2012 to second region in 2017.

How do you feel about being awarded a scholarship or bursary?

It is a tremendous gesture. It is humbling that what I have achieved so far is recognised by others. I am looking forward to being a part of St Catharine’s College and giving back in turn a few years from now.

Something that not many people know about you

I have mastered the French braid to the great joy of my two daughters.
