I believe that the Cambridge MBA experience will prepare me well for a successful career in today's dynamically changing world.

What led you to take the Cambridge MBA?

I wanted to further improve my business, leadership and communication skills. The Cambridge MBA is a perfect choice for me because it offers a world-class programme in just one year, has plenty of opportunities to apply theory to practice, and has strong ties to innovation and entrepreneurship. I believe that this experience will prepare me well for a successful career in today’s dynamically changing world.

Describe the biggest accomplishment in your career so far

I led the Strategy & Operations (S&O) programme for Balder’s $800M drilling programme in offshore Norway. Drilling challenges there were very different due to depletion of the reservoir which caused wellbore instability and unexpected fluid losses. I designed the S&O programme to be very proactive and led a multidisciplinary team of 12+ service company engineers on a floater rig in North Sea with the specific task of implementing it. My team analysed live drilling data and made recommendations to mitigate drilling risks and minimise non-productive time 24 hours a day. I learned to perform under high pressure and developed a habit of always seeking for potential optimisations, and learnt the power of leading by example.
