Here's an overview of the stages in the admissions process:
Stage 1 - Receipt of application
Once the Graduate Admissions Office has received your application and your supporting documentation it will process your application. The Graduate Admissions Office will send you an acknowledgement letter and ID number if you made a paper application; online applicants will receive this information by email. Details on how to log into your self-service account to track the progress of your application will be included.
Stage 2 - Application review
Cambridge Judge Business School's Admissions Committee will meet to review applications and a decision is then made as to whether to make you a conditional offer.
If your application is accepted the Graduate Admissions Office will notify you by email and self-service. You will be able to print a summary certificate of offer from your self-service account.
If your application is not accepted, the Graduate Admissions Office will notify you by email and self-service.
Remember, you can use your self-service account to track the progress of your application at any time. It tells you everything the Graduate Admissions Office knows about this progress.

Stage 3 - Conditional offer
If your application is accepted the Graduate Admissions Office will send you a formal offer letter. Your offer of a place on the programme will tend to come with conditions attached. These might be financial (proving that you have the funds to support yourself while on the programme), language (proving that your English language skills are proficient), academic, or the provision of original documents. It is your responsibility to meet these requirements and to let the Graduate Admissions Office know when you have done so by providing the necessary documentary evidence.

Stage 4 - Unconditional offer
This is the final stage of the applications process. Once you have met all the conditions of your admission and have the offer of a college place, the Graduate Admissions Office will notify you by email and self-service (and a Confirmation of Acceptance of Study (CAS) certificate for visa application where appropriate). This notification confirms that you may begin your MPhil programme at the start of the academic year.
At this stage you can now start to make arrangements, such as visa applications where applicable, and arranging your accommodation in Cambridge.
