Other funding

You can get funding for postgraduate study through loans, studentships, bursaries and grants - or you might also get help from your employer. Guidance can be found on the Government's website.

Although the University of Cambridge has a variety of funding schemes administered by offices, departments, faculties, institutions and colleges, please note that the majority of them have not been made available to part-time students so far. Anyhow we recommend that you keep an eye on the database of student awards offered by the University of Cambridge.

Note to current students: in genuine cases of unforeseeable hardship, the programme may be able to support students who have shown a high aptitude for research or study but are experiencing difficulties as a result of unexpected changes in their financial circumstances.
