Sponsorship

Student sponsorship

There are many opportunities for student sponsorship and we are grateful for all the support our corporate partners, alumni and friends have given to help support their many activities.

Our students greatly appreciate the support corporate friends and alumni have given in sponsoring prizes in recognition of academic achievement. Sponsors of prizes for academic achievement include:

  • The Sir Paul Judge Prize for Management Science
  • The Jeremy Marchant Prize for Finance
  • The William Edward Prize for Management Practice
  • The Bolton Memorial Prize for the Best Overall Performance on the MBA Programme
  • Worshipful Company of Marketors prize for the Best Marketing Dissertation
  • Worshipful Company of Actuaries prize for the Best Doctoral Dissertation in Finance
  • The Graeme Minto Prize for the Best Performance on the Management Studies Tripos
  • The MST Project Prize for the Best Project Performance as Attested by Client Feedback

The Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts bursaries provide invaluable financial support for MBA students from the not-for-profit sector.

Guest speaker programmes

Students at Cambridge Judge Business School have many opportunities to gain real insight into many aspects of management through the Cambridge Leadership Seminars, where senior managers talk informally about practical aspects of management.

The Leaders in Management lecture series enables MBA students to benefit from the experiences and insights of chief executives of leading organisations. The lectures are followed by a reception and dinner where lively discussion continues between the students and the speaker. Students and speakers alike find this a valuable and stimulating experience.

CEO in Residence programme

The CEO in Residence programme enables our students to engage on a regular basis through discussion, teaching and informal meetings with a current business leader, and share his or her views on a wide range of issues. Bradley Fried, our current CEO in Residence, also hosts corporate events to encourage wider engagement between Cambridge Judge Business School, the corporate community and our student body.

For more information on how to participate as a sponsor, please contact: corporate-relations@jbs.cam.ac.uk.

The Cambridge Business School Club (CBSC)

Established and run by the students, the CBSC aims to help promote partnerships between industry and students of Cambridge Judge Business School.

The students organise lecture series, sporting events against other leading business schools, and special interest clubs focused on areas such as women in business and social responsibility.

The students are seeking corporate speakers and sponsorship for events. Recent sponsors have included HSBC, Cisco, Morimatsu, BP and American Airlines.
