Business Development Manager, Open Programmes
Salary up to £32,000 per annum

Executive Education is a major activity in Cambridge Judge Business School providing customised and open programmes to the corporate world that are built on the knowledge and expertise of our network of academics and business practitioners. The Executive Education business is a limited company working within the business school and the University of Cambridge.
Based in Cambridge the role of Business Development Manager is pivotal in helping to achieve enrolment targets on a selection of Executive Education open enrolment programmes, ensuring conversion of quality enquiries to registrations and giving high quality, timely advice as well as proactively following up on leads and enquiries. This position centres around business development and client relationship management and requires the successful candidate to work as a key part of the Open Programmes team to help achieve revenue targets.
Educated to graduate degree level, you will have a moderate amount of experience in a business development or sales environment. You should also have outstanding communication and negotiation skills, be team-oriented and have a sophisticated understanding of different cultural contexts. Highly developed organisational and presentation skills are essential. We are seeking a self-starter who will proactively manage leads and follow-up. Experience in a business school and/or executive education environment will be an advantage.

Reader in Entrepreneurship

The University of Cambridge Judge Business School is seeking a new faculty member and invites applications for the position of Reader in Entrepreneurship.
Cambridge Judge Business School is home to the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, which teaches entrepreneurship inside the business school and across the University, and also houses an accelerator. We are seeking to grow our research and teaching capacity in entrepreneurship to strengthen our contribution to the Cambridge ecosystem.
The successful candidate will have an established track record of publications in leading international journals such as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Management Science and Organization Science and will be expected to contribute to teaching entrepreneurship to the undergraduate, MPhil, MBA, Executive and PhD programmes.

KPMG Professorship of Management Studies

The Board of Electors to the KPMG Professorship of Management Studies invite applications for this Professorship to take up appointment on 1 October 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter. Preference will be given to persons whose work is connected with leadership and team management.
The successful candidate for this Professorship will be joining a dynamic and expanding international and multi-disciplinary business school, determined to achieve and sustain international excellence in research and scholarship. He or she will be expected to add distinction through research and teaching as a member of the Organisational Behaviour and Information Systems subject group, with an interest in leadership and team management specifically. The position offers the opportunity to shape the development of this subject area as a leading member of a highly visible group of scholars within a world-class university. The position also offers a chance to interact with business leaders and shapers of the Cambridge entrepreneurial environment at the highest level.
Candidates will have an outstanding research record of international stature in management studies and the vision, leadership, experience and enthusiasm to build on current strengths in maintaining and developing a leading research presence. They will hold a PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
Standard professorial duties include teaching and research, examining, supervision and administration. The Professor will be based in Cambridge. A competitive salary will be offered.

Human Resources Administrator - Secondment Opportunity

The Cambridge Judge Business School Human Resources department is responsible for the full range of HR functions for all staff including organisational structure, recruitment & retention, pay and grading, training & development, employment relations and performance management.
Reporting to the HR Director of Cambridge Judge Business School you will work with the HR Coordinator and the HR Administrator to provide a professional and efficient HR service including all aspects of HR administration.
You will have previous HR administration experience and will have worked in a busy, customer focussed HR environment. A basic knowledge of employment law and principles of HR best practice are essential. You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills and be able to produce work to a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate will have recruitment experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently. The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure is a prerequisite of this role.
This is a secondment opportunity for University of Cambridge employees only. The funds for this position are available for up to one year or until the return of the permanent postholder whichever is the earlier. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible.

University Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in International Business

The Strategy and International Business Group within Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, is pleased to invite applications to a University Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in International Business. While the position is in International Business, we are happy to consider candidates whose work lies in Strategy and/or Organisation Theory. Candidates may have finished their PhDs or be very close to completion. We are looking for engaged scholars who have already started building a research pipeline.
Strategy and International Business is a small but intellectually vibrant group at Cambridge Judge Business School. Members have published in several leading journals including AMJ, AMR, SMJ, Organization Science, Organization Studies, JIBS and several others. The candidate will be expected to have the capability of teaching strategy courses to MBAs, Executive MBAs and Executives. S/he would be expected to carry out research that is not simply published in top journals but also has impact.
Cambridge Judge Business School, whose MBA programme is ranked 16th in the world by the Financial Times, lies at the heart of the University of Cambridge, one of the world's leading universities.
