The MBA Careers team provides a broad programme of coaching and guidance, starting before you even arrive in Cambridge, to help you achieve the post-MBA job you are looking for, and to equip you with effective 'employability' tools for life. Typically over 90 percent of our MBA graduates are employed three months after finishing their MBA studies - a figure which shows the regard in which our graduates are held by recruiters around the world.
Each Cambridge MBA class is typically very diverse in terms of professional and cultural experience, as well as career aspiration. We are committed to delivering a careers programme which is tailored to the needs of the particular class, working to achieve the variety of goals represented. This flexible and highly personal approach to careers services is a notable strength of the Cambridge MBA.
Who recruits Cambridge MBAs?
We collaborate with key employers from around the world and structure our careers provision around MBA recruitment timelines. Because of the smaller size of the Cambridge MBA class, our careers staff are able to familiarise themselves closely with students' profiles and requirements, and work closely with recruiters using a variety of tools to promote you and your classmates.

Employment after your MBA - what to expect
Coming into your MBA, you will have formed expectations about your employment opportunities when you graduate. Often, you will find your plan will change during the MBA experience, as new opportunities show themselves, or as you understand more about yourself and your potential contribution. We are experienced in guiding MBAs through this journey, and understand what recruiters are looking for in MBA recruits. Each year we see that those students who engage fully with the MBA Careers provision from the start benefit the most from our services. Our service is based on a 'partnership' approach, seeking to work together with you to define and achieve your goals. This approach will give you skills which will impact your life-long career, not just land your immediate post-MBA job.
