Aims and objectives
A further project was carried out for UK Trade and Investment in collaboration with China Business Solutions, which examined specific engineering sub sector opportunities in a number of Chinese provinces and assessed the entry opportunities and methods for UK businesses.
Results and dissemination
The project:
- provided an assessment of the key routes to market
- identified and assessed the level of opportunity in the engineering sub sectors in the identified markets
- provided sufficient information in each of these sub sectors to enable SMEs to undertake further investigations to identify specific business opportunities
- identified areas for the UKTI engineering sector team to act upon in 2006/7
