EnterpriseTECH
The EnterpriseTECH experience is open to graduates, PhD students, postdocs and industry researchers irrespective of location who want to build their understanding of entrepreneurship through a real-world team experience.
Are you a researcher interested in exploring entrepreneurship, or are you considering an innovative idea that you want to turn into a successful business? Our suite of 2 interrelated programmes is specifically designed for individuals like you.
If you are an inventor or part of an inventor team exploring the early stages of a new technology, you can get involved by submitting a project proposal to us online for consideration.
We are always reviewing and refining our pool of supervisors and mentors. If you would like to contribute to the entrepreneurship education of our programme students, please let us know by using our online application form.
EnterpriseTECH
No business idea yourself? No problem
The starting point is our 10-week entrepreneurship programme, EnterpriseTECH. This is an extracurricular programme that includes a lecture series and practical, hands-on project experience to give you a real-world understanding of the startup world and the commercialisation journey. You don’t need to have your own business idea to join us.
We also collaborate with inventors to select commercially feasible projects for our student teams to work on. These projects are early-stage technologies from young ventures or academic labs, and as a student participant, you’ll work on one of these as part of a team during the programme.
EnterpriseTECH STAR
Start progressing your business idea
For people who complete EnterpriseTECH and are keen to begin developing their own super early-stage business ideas, we have our selective follow-on programme, EnterpriseTECH STAR.
This is also a 10-week programme that runs mostly out of hours. It’s explicitly designed to help its cohort get ready to apply to competitions and accelerators, providing holistic support as business ideas come to life and the cohort evolves as entrepreneurs.
