Prasanna Suresh is a PhD candidate in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, where his research focuses on using innovative biophysical techniques to study immune signalling pathways. Prasanna has significant experience in evaluating early stage ventures. As a Venture Analyst Intern at Start Codon, a Cambridge-based life sciences accelerator, he conducted detailed due diligence on early-stage companies which went on to be used by the Investment Director at Investment Advisory Committee meetings. He received regular mentorship from Start Codon’s Investment Director, gaining valuable insights into investment strategy, startup evaluation, and the factors that drive success in early-stage ventures. He has also contributed to commercialisation strategies for startups, such as identifying market opportunities for a cancer diagnostics company during Cambridge’s Medical iTeams program. Previously, during his internship at AstraZeneca, Prasanna gained hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry, presenting findings to cross-disciplinary teams in a global organisation. With a first-class honours degree in Chemistry from Oxford, Prasanna combines technical expertise, analytical skills, and industry knowledge. He is passionate about driving innovation in the life sciences sector and helping translate cutting-edge research into impactful commercial solutions.

Dr Shreehari Suresh is a medical professional with a passion for advancing healthcare through technology. Graduating in 2023 with a degree in medicine from the University of Cambridge and an additional first-class honours intercalated degree in Pathology (Natural Sciences), Shreehari combines a deep scientific foundation with practical medical expertise. Currently working as a junior doctor at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, Shreehari has amassed almost 2 years of clinical experience while actively contributing to the medical field through research. He has co-authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals including a study examining the use of automated CT scan segmentation software for correlating muscle/fat density with mortality outcomes, with view to developing predictive scoring criteria using AI. Shreehari has also demonstrated a strong aptitude for entrepreneurship and is dedicated to understanding the startup commercialisation ecosystem. In 2023, he participated in Cambridge’s Medical i-Teams program, advising a cancer diagnostic company on strategies to target alternative market segments. Furthermore, as a recently appointed Digital Innovation Ambassador with the Oxford University Hospitals Trust, he leverages his expertise to drive technological advancements in healthcare. Combining an enthusiastic mindset with a practical approach, Shreehari is committed to reshaping the future of healthcare through innovation and collaboration.

Dr Milad Divsalar is a dentist with a passion for education, collaboration, and advancing dental care. After ranking 21st nationally in his foundation training year, he has continued to build on his skills and knowledge. He contributed multiple chapters to Dentistry in a Nutshell, a widely used dental textbook now available in every UK dental school library, reflecting a commitment to supporting the next generation of dentists. As a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Milad is focused on honing his expertise in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. He is currently undertaking a PGCert in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry with Dr. Christopher Orr, a leading educator in the field. Beyond clinical practice, Milad organised a successful dental conference, featuring hands-on workshops on digital dentistry and root canal treatment, and secured sponsorships from respected industry partners. With a strong foundation in clinical work, education, and event organisation, Milad has developed a versatile dental network that he is keen to capitalise on as he enters the startup space.

Yasamin is a full-stack software engineer in the Travel and Lifestyle sector at American Express, where she contributes to building scalable micro services. She holds a first-class degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence from King’s College London, showing her strong academic foundation. During her time at university, Yasamin was a member of Kings Labs, a pro bono student-led engineering team delivering industry-standard software solutions. She led the team in delivering a project for Huzzle, which entailed developing a web scraper to extract job opportunities from the internet and automate their storage. The integration of this scraper led to streamlined workflows for the company. Yasamin is also interested in machine learning and graph theory, and this curiosity led her to write a dissertation which explores the extent to which graph kernel algorithms can be used for team member replacement. This allowed Yasamin to solve optimisation problems through computational methods. With a combination of full-stack engineering expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for innovation, Yasamin is eager to bring her technical expertise to the accelerator, aiming to build impactful software solutions.
