ZenVolt is a climate-focused capital intelligence system designed to improve the efficiency and financing of grid-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS), a critical enabler of renewable energy integration. As renewable generation continues to scale rapidly, a growing share of clean energy is curtailed due to insufficient and inefficient storage infrastructure.
By leveraging advanced data modelling and artificial intelligence, ZenVolt converts battery performance and degradation data into actionable capital decisions. The system enables asset owners to determine when and how to deploy capital into their assets, improving utilisation, extending asset life, and reducing reliance on assumption-driven decision-making.
ZenVolt also provides independent, data-driven insight into asset performance, enabling lenders and institutional investors to assess risk and underwrite battery infrastructure with greater confidence. This helps improve capital allocation across the sector and supports faster, more reliable deployment of storage assets.

Abdur Razzak is the Founder & CEO of ZenVolt, with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence and a degree in Computer Science from Brunel University of London. He has experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Eli Lilly and Company, where he worked on complex data engineering and machine learning projects, primarily supporting finance and commercial teams.
With a passion for leveraging technology to address global challenges, Abdur leads ZenVolt’s vision of improving the efficiency and financing of battery energy storage systems to accelerate renewable energy integration. His expertise in data analytics and AI ensures the platform delivers impactful, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
Nick Ng
Co-Founder & COO
Nick Ng is the CTO & Co-Founder of ZenVolt, with a diverse background in deeptech and fintech, and a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Exeter. He has previously founded a DeFi venture, where he engineered financial models, led due diligence processes, and developed market strategies.
His strong interest in clean energy and sustainable infrastructure drives his work in developing ZenVolt’s AI-powered automation and battery asset intelligence systems. Nick’s cross-disciplinary expertise across financial technology and climate tech is central to shaping ZenVolt’s product vision and technical direction.
Huijuan (Joyce) Kuang
Co-Founder & COO
Huijuan (Joyce) Kuang is the Co-Founder & COO of ZenVolt, with over 6 years of experience in geospatial and energy science. She has studied at the China University of Geosciences, Imperial College London, and Delft University of Technology, developing a strong foundation in energy systems and data-driven analysis.
She serves as the operational and scientific backbone of ZenVolt, bringing expertise in energy systems, geospatial analysis, and sustainability to support the development of the platform. Her work plays a key role in shaping ZenVolt’s approach to improving the performance and deployment of battery storage infrastructure.
