Ankur Bisen, an MBA alumnus from Cambridge Judge Business School, has had an editorial column published in one of India’s leading financial daily publications about the drop in sales of traditional dairy based Indian sweets and the repercussions this will have on retailers.
The article appeared in DNA India (Daily News & Analysis) on 14 March and looked at how urban consumers are now seeking an alternative to traditional dairy-based sweets, such as packaged sweets like Cadbury’s and Nestle. Ankur believes that this change in preferences will have a profound impact on local sweet shops in India and significant implications for FMCG companies and retailers.
Ankur completed his MBA in 2009 and is currently an Associate Director of Technopak Advisors, India’s leading management consultancy firm, which works with organisations across consumer goods, retail, fashion, food, agriculture and education sectors.
