Mark’s book – Doctors at War: Life and Death in a Field Hospital – was published last year by Cornell University Press. The book reflected Mark’s research on high-performing teams, including 6 weeks of fieldwork in 2011 at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan.
The award was announced 19 May at the conference at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This year’s conference theme was Qualitative Inquiry in Troubled Times.
