The award to Jaideep, who is Vice-Dean for Faculty at Cambridge Judge, was chosen from 10 finalist universities “represented by an academic whose recent work shows what world-class collaboration looks like: a real project, drawn from the open scholarly record, cited so you can check it”, said Global Research Partnerships.
The award was for a 2023 article in the journal Research Policy on how design thinking shapes public sector innovation, “showing that risk-taking and cognitive empathy improve individual performance while emotional empathy can hinder it, drawing on evidence from public sector professionals”, said the award citation.
