Could drug‑resistant superbugs trigger the next global health crisis?

Join us at Cambridge Judge Business School on Friday 17 July for an exclusive screening of ‘AMR – Dying to Change the World’, a powerful new documentary on antimicrobial resistance (AMR). This is followed by a fireside chat with Dr Yusuf Hamied, renowned scientist, philanthropist and Chairman of Cipla, and other guests.

The film explores the human impact of drug-resistant infections through the experiences of patients, healthcare professionals, scientists and advocates around the world. It also highlights the urgent need for responsible antimicrobial use, better infection prevention, improved diagnostics and continued investment in research and innovation.

As part of Cambridge Judge Business School’s commitment to responsible business, the event will also consider how leaders across sectors can respond to the AMR challenge in ways that are both ethically grounded and economically sustainable.

The film is produced by Dr Yusuf Hamied, written by Professor Dame Sally Davies and Alex Tweddle, supported by The Yusuf and Farida Hamied Foundation and narrated by Brian Cox.
