Join Elisabeth Costa as she discusses digital decision-making and the role that behavioural science has in understanding, shaping and regulating online/digital behaviours. She will also highlight recent work in this area conducted by the Behavioural Insights team – from increasing resilience to online fraud and scams, to diagnosing and reducing the harms from online gambling and encouraging children to report harmful content.

Elisabeth is the Managing Director of the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) in the UK. Joining the team in 2015, she has developed and led the Team’s flagship programmes on the intersection of behavioural science and economic policy. She regularly contributes to policy discussions and public debate on digital markets and online decision-making, financial behaviour, and consumer vulnerability.

The Behavioural Roundtable is a speaker series hosted by the El-Erian Institute. It serves to convene leading practitioners and researchers in the field of behavioural insights to share experiences from the field and discuss latest scientific insights.
