The Wo+Men’s Leadership Conference was held on Saturday 8 June 2019 at Cambridge Judge Business School. The theme for this year’s conference was Building Balance, where we were debating the issue of gender diversity within organisations and how men and women can work together to better the world!
The Wo+Men’s Leadership Centre would like to thank Goldman Sachs for their generous sponsorship of the conference this year and were delighted to hold this year’s conference jointly with Goldman Sachs.
This year we were delighted to welcome Cath Kidston and Laurel Powers-Freeling as keynote speakers. An English fashion designer, businesswoman and author, she is the Founder of Cath Kidston Limited – the quintessentially British lifestyle brand with a global, multi-channel presence. Laurel has held leadership positions within major institutions and in privately held companies and now has a portfolio of non-executive director roles.
The conference delivered an exciting programme, with a diverse range of speakers and panellists providing invaluable insight for both men and women wanting a deeper understanding of what makes successful leaders in business.
There were plenty of opportunities to network with conference speakers and attendees throughout the day.
