Lloyds Banking Group appoints Tom Martin (EMBA 2016) as its new ambassador for the East of England.

“By forging strong bonds within our communities and partnering with our region’s stakeholders, I believe we can use finance as a force for good to create a bright and promising future for the East of England.”

Tom will work with partners in the community, including the City of Cambridge, to explore ways of increasing access to affordable, sustainable housing and championing the region’s businesses and core sectors, including agriculture.

“The EMBA was pivotal for me. It is no exaggeration to say that it’s driven and inspired me. I’m not just talking about business, I’m talking about making a greater impact on the world. When you’re surrounded, and become good friends, with people who are the best in their field, globally, it’s impossible to look at the world in the same way. We left as a group better equipped, supported and energised to be a positive agent for change.”
