My research examines how policy, institutions and information shape technological change and behaviour. I use quasi-experimental methods, natural language processing and other computational approaches to address questions in innovation and public economics. Thus far, my work has focused on intellectual property, public procurement and sustainable innovation, examining how firms and individuals respond to policy and how these responses vary across economic settings.
