Robert is the Research and Database Manager for the Cambridge Corporate Database project at the Centre for Business Research, Cambridge Judge Business School.
His research focuses on modelling regional economic growth through the analysis of comprehensive longitudinal datasets that capture the scale and structure of economic activity in the Cambridge city region. This work examines business growth, the formation of economic clusters, and the impact of the innovation-driven economy, with particular emphasis on the technology and life sciences sectors in understanding the ‘Cambridge Phenomenon’ and regional economic performance.
Robert also has extensive experience in large-scale survey research, including major studies investigating systems of knowledge exchange between academic institutions and the private business sector.
