Ming Hong’s journey
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of London. Prior to Cambridge Judge’s Master of Finance programme, I worked as an Assistant Manager, Asia-Pacific Capital Markets at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), a Fortune 500 company and global leader in real estate services. I gained invaluable hands-on experience in Singapore, one of the world’s most dynamic financial hubs. This role allowed me to develop a nuanced understanding of cross-border investments, capital flows, and the intricate interplay between real estate and financial markets across the diverse Asia-Pacific region.
The overall learning experience on Cambridge Judge’s Master of Finance programme was truly unparalleled. The academically rigorous yet highly practical coursework, delivered by world-renowned faculty, fostered deep intellectual and professional growth with real-world applicability. Immersed in a vibrant community of industry leaders, accomplished alumni, and brilliant peers, I gained profound insights into the intricacies of global finance and access to invaluable connections worldwide.
As a recipient of the Chevening Scholarship and the Cambridge Trust Scholarship, I am committed to leveraging my knowledge, insights, and skills gained from the Master of Finance programme to give back to the community, fostering stronger UK-Singapore bilateral relations, and contributing to Singapore’s continued success.
