Petrova Nadejda.

What is your professional and educational background?

I work in the technology/startups/scaleups sector.

What is the most exciting thing about your work?

I thrive in fast-paced environments where I constantly learn new concepts and I perform best when my work is connected to knowledge building and working in previously unseen situations.

What attracted you to Cambridge Judge Business School and the Executive MBA?

I knew the Executive MBA was the right programme for me, because I didn’t want to take a drastic career break, but I also knew I had a lot to learn.

This programme gives me the flexibility to be a present parent and a developing professional whilst I study at Cambridge.  Being at the University of Cambridge has always been a lifelong dream of mine.

What are you hoping to get out of the Executive MBA?

I hope to continue to learn from the brightest academic minds and build upon my friendship group. Meeting my peers has brought me so much joy, as they are some of the most successful, fun human beings I have come across.

I look forward to bonding more with them and exploring Brazil’s business ecosystem together on our International Study Trip in March. My focus in the program is to build lifelong connections with my peers and faculty.

What are your long-term career ambitions?

My primary goal is to continue to develop my career at the pace at which I have until now and to continue to develop my skills in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

I also aspire to finding ways to pass on my knowledge through investment in new businesses by becoming an angel investor.

Lastly, my hope is to work in fields and positions which set a solid example for my children and to pass on my business knowledge to them.
