Founding team
Dr Katrin Hulme
Katrin is a Chartered Health Psychologist and World Record holding athlete. With over 13 years’ experience in Health Psychology, she has worked clinically in the NHS, led research projects as a post-doctoral researcher at King’s College London and has authored 10+ publications. She is co-inventor of a digital therapeutic for treating anxiety and depression in chronic conditions and led product development, content creation, user research, regulatory approvals, NHS implementation and the design & running of an industry-leading randomised controlled trial. After KCL she moved to a Digital Health company and led a cross-functional team as Associate Director (Product) and Business Manager. In April 2024 she took the bold step to leave and set up her own Digital Health consultancy and launch boostme.
Katrin is also a high performing athlete having played semi-professional basketball for 15 years before moving into international hybrid fitness competitions. She has competed for GB at the HYROX World Champs where she not only got a win but also set a new World Record. She has completed an Ironman 140.6 triathlon in sub 13 hours and recently qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in 2025.
Helen Davis
Helen is a Chartered Sport Psychologist with extensive experience working across a broad range of sports, collaborating with accomplished athletes at various levels. She is founder of her Sport Psychology Consultancy business think.believe.perform and brings elite performance expertise to boostme. She has worked with teams and individuals travelling across the world to tournaments such as the US Open, French Open and Wimbledon tennis tournaments, across Europe for Six Nations Rugby tournaments, the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand and the Paralympics in Paris.
She is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and British Psychological Society and has over 25 years’ experience in the classroom as a primary school teacher. A regular performer herself, Helen is an active Masters swimmer, open water swimmer and Swimrunner competing in National and International competitions.
