At SynPixels, we aim to personalise cancer radiotherapy to improve precision and reduce toxicity by applying AI on medical images. We provide an AI-powered software as a medical device (SaaMD) that generates daily CT-quality images and contours of patients, enabling clinicians to evaluate and re-optimise daily radiotherapy treatment plans.

Founding team

Ping Lin Yeap

Lin is a PhD candidate in Oncology at the University of Cambridge, funded by the Gates Cambridge Scholarship. With a background in medical physics and artificial intelligence, he enjoys solving problems at the intersection of disciplines. Ping Lin’s research focuses on adapting and personalising radiotherapy treatment using machine learning, and he is committed to improving patient outcomes through innovative technology. With a wealth of experience as a clinical medical physicist in Singapore, Ping Lin has made novel contributions to the field of radiation therapy. His long-term aspiration is to bridge the gap between healthcare and technology, leveraging his interdisciplinary skills to harness AI-driven innovation and make significant contributions to medical technologies.
