Sunday 31 March 2013 will see the 159th Boat Race, an annual contest between two rowing crews from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. Cambridge Judge Business School is delighted to announce that three of its students are rowing in the race.
Rowers Alexander Fleming (MPhil Management 2012) and Mike Thorp (MST 2012) will be in the Blue Boat and the Reserve Boat respectively. Sam Ojserkis (MPhil Management 2012) will be coxing the Reserve Boat.
First raced in 1829, the Boat Race is one of the oldest sporting events in the world and takes place close to Easter each year on the River Thames in West London between Putney and Mortlake. This year Cambridge lead the series, with 81 victories to Oxford’s 76.
We wish Alexander, Mike and Sam the best of luck and look forward to watching the race!
