Top spot in UK one-year programmes category for sixth straight year.
The annual Financial Times global MBA rankings, published today (29 January), place Cambridge Judge Business School 13th among the world’s MBA programmes. Cambridge Judge was the top ranked one-year MBA programme in the UK for the sixth consecutive year.
The Cambridge MBA is ranked third in value for money and aims achieved, with 89 per cent of alumni who responded to the survey indicating that they fulfilled their goals or reasons for doing an MBA.
Cambridge Judge improved its ranking to 11th in career progress, or changes in the level of seniority and size of company alumni work in now, compared with before their MBA. About 89 per cent of the most recent graduating class were employed within three months of completing their studies.
Although this year’s ranking is down from fifth the previous year, it again confirms Cambridge Judge’s place as one of the world’s top business schools, as reflected in a range of achievements, performance measures and initiatives.
The rankings were announced in the month that the School welcomed students and Executive Education delegates to its new £32 million Simon Sainsbury Centre. The creation of the Simon Sainsbury Centre has provided an unparalleled opportunity to re-engage with our global community of alumni and external colleagues, who have been vibrant and active contributors in its creation. This will ensure the continuing growth and development of our world-class Business School.
This academic year, the Cambridge MBA programme grew to more than 200 students as the class became even more diverse and international: 39 per cent of the current MBA class are women and 94 per cent are from countries other than the UK.
The School has added several new degree programmes in recent years – including a Master of Studies in Social Innovation and, starting next year, a Master of Studies in Entrepreneurship and a Master of Accounting – as Cambridge Judge welcomes students with a wider range of experience and interests.
