Overview
As your business grows, so do the demands on you as a leader. Decisions about where to invest, how to build your leadership team and when to embrace new technologies compete with the daily pressures of running the organisation. Finding time to question your approach and plan for the longer term can be difficult, yet these are the decisions that will shape your business’s future.
The Cambridge Owners and Presidents Programme brings together owners, founders, presidents and senior enterprise leaders to work through these challenges. At Cambridge Judge Business School, you will draw on academic research, engage with experienced faculty and exchange perspectives with peers who understand the responsibility of leading a business. In an environment shaped by intellectual curiosity and entrepreneurial ambition, you will challenge your assumptions and explore new possibilities for your organisation.
Through 2 in-person modules in Cambridge, connected by online learning, you will examine how strategy, finance, innovation, leadership and governance work together to support lasting growth. Peer advisory discussions and business simulations will help you test your thinking and apply new ideas to the challenges you face. You will leave with a clearer sense of direction and greater confidence to lead your business into its next chapter.
Benefits and career impact
When you are responsible for a business, your own development can easily fall behind the needs of everyone around you. Yet giving yourself time to think, learn and challenge your approach can have a lasting influence on the organisation you lead.
At Cambridge, you will have the space to look beyond immediate pressures and consider what is possible – for your business and for yourself as a leader. Working with faculty and fellow owners and senior leaders, you will explore difficult questions, draw inspiration from different experiences and develop the confidence to pursue new opportunities.
Whether your ambition is to expand into new markets, build a stronger leadership team or prepare the business for its next generation, you will strengthen your ability to turn that ambition into informed decisions. The benefits extend beyond your own leadership to the people you empower, the organisation you build and the future you help shape.
- Gain a broader view of your organisation, connecting decisions across strategy, finance, people and operations.
- Strengthen your judgement when assessing growth opportunities, prioritising investment and responding to uncertainty.
- Explore what AI and emerging technologies mean for your business and where they can add value.
- Test your thinking with Cambridge faculty and fellow leaders who bring different experiences and perspectives.
