Meet our MPhil in Strategy, Marketing, Operations and Organisational Behaviour class
Every year, we are proud to admit some of the brightest students from across the world. They all have excellent first degrees and varied quantitative backgrounds in subjects such as industrial engineering, economics, operations research, physics, statistics, or mathematics, contributing to fast-paced and stimulating classroom experiences.
The class sizes vary from year to year, but they are typically small, which allows for deep engagement with Cambridge Judge faculty and one-to-one research supervision. You will be studying with 5 to 8 classmates, forming tight bonds and starting lifelong friendships.
Depending on your course choices, you will have ample opportunity to engage with the wider Business School and University of Cambridge student community in shared classes, as well as network with students in your College.

“The programme (Organisational Behaviour track) equipped me with the essential knowledge and skills to excel in my academic pursuits and lay a solid foundation for my PhD studies. The programme's rigorous curriculum was complemented by the faculty's unparalleled expertise. Their mentorship and guidance were instrumental in deepening my understanding of complex theories and models. The small class size further provided an invaluable opportunity to engage directly with leading researchers, fostering a highly interactive and personalised learning environment.”
Prior to joining Cambridge Judge, Tommy earned a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Bachelor’s in Law, and obtained an MSc in Management at Imperial College Business School. He continues onto PhD in 2024. Asif Nazrul
MPhil alumnus
"Being part of the Business School community has been an incredibly enriching experience. As the Student Body Representative for the Class of 2025, I had the chance to help organise events like our Christmas class dinner, which fostered a strong sense of camaraderie. What makes the Cambridge Judge experience truly unique is the collaborative academic culture. It’s a place where rigorous research is encouraged, yet deeply grounded in real-world problems. The faculty here have not only challenged my thinking but have been generous with their mentorship, and my peers have brought diverse, global perspectives into every discussion. What stood out most was the opportunity to explore multiple streams of management and engage in close-knit, thought-provoking discussions with esteemed professors."
Asif previously completed his BSc in Economics, Statistics, and Mathematics at Queen Mary University of London, which included an exchange year at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. His MPhil research focused on empirical operations, platform strategy and behavioural supply decisions in online marketplaces.
Prior to joining Cambridge Judge, Asif worked as a Data Analyst at Bloomberg LP. He plans to pursue a PhD in Operations and Technology Management at Cambridge with Professor Stelios Kavadias.
