What is your professional and educational background?

MPhil in Education, University of Cambridge.

What is the most exciting thing about your work?

Through my work, I get to see first-hand how technology is changing businesses for the better, allowing them to be more efficient, grow faster and contribute positively to the environment. I also host a podcast where I interview female leaders in my industry, and that has been a massive learning and mentoring experience, as well as inspiration for my career journey and the impact we all have on people around us.

What attracted you to Cambridge Judge Business School and the Global Executive MBA?

It’s one of a kind. I’ve already studied at Cambridge previously, and it was a wonderful experience. Given the diversity of the programme, teaching staff and the cohort, I knew that will be the right place for me. I was drawn by the diversity of the cohort, as I wanted the opportunity to learn from people outside my industry (that is, mostly all!)

What are you hoping to get out of the Global Executive MBA?

A new network of people from very different backgrounds than mine. I’m already learning massively through our small group work on projects and assignments. I’ll be looking to immerse myself more in the Cambridge Ecosystem and get to know the local businesses and startups. Most of all, I am looking for well-rounded business knowledge through academic lectures and research. The programme has already been such an eye-opener, and I can’t wait to absorb many more interesting concepts and peer discussions.

What are your long-term career ambitions?

I’m working on my own venture and will be looking to combine my tech experience with entrepreneurship endeavours, as a founder of my own company and non-executive board director for tech startups. Likely, I’ll continue to be open to interesting opportunities and get involved in different projects. You could call it a portfolio career.
