CPSL Mind Training Services graduated from Cambridge Social Ventures in September 2019.
Idea
CPSL Mind offers a wide range of mental health related training to public, private and voluntary sector organisations in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. This includes standardised internationally recognised courses such as Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and bespoke courses such as Managing Mental Health in the Workplace for line managers and Strengthening Personal Resilience for all staff.
The offer includes chargeable courses to corporate and statutory sector clients to help embed positive mental health in the workplace, and grant-funded training for community and voluntary organisations to upskill their staff and volunteers.
All of CPSL Mind’s training includes educating people to keep themselves well using the 5 Ways to Wellbeing and challenging stigma and discrimination.
CPSL Mind also develops bespoke specialist courses for individual clients as required, and offers support to clients to develop an organisational wellbeing strategy and embed learning to promote cultural change.
