Idea
Kalamna (formerly Ahlan! Arabic) provides Arabic language classes to children and adults in Cambridge. ‘Kalamna’ in Arabic means ‘our words’ and they seek to welcome all who are interested in learning spoken Arabic. Parents with an Arabic background who want to expose their children to the language and culture of their heritage, in a fun and stimulating environment with other like-minded families, find an opportunity to do so with Kalamna. Their focus is on the everyday spoken language, using songs, stories and games for language learning.
They have regular social events for families to get together in a relaxed and informal setting. Classes start from baby/toddler age so all ages are welcome.
