The award is presented every 2 years to recognise an individual whose outstanding scientific contributions have significantly advanced the field of arts and culture management.

“The award honours scholars whose research, leadership and sustained commitment have left a lasting mark on both academic knowledge and professional practice, while also making an exceptional contribution to the AIMAC community,” the group said in a LinkedIn posting. “Beyond celebrating individual achievement, it serves as an inspiration for all those dedicated to strengthening our field and our association.”

Dr Hadida has been a pioneer in teaching and research at the intersection of strategy, creativity, cultural management and media organisations.

AIMAC also said:

“Dr Hadida has been a pioneer in teaching and research at the intersection of strategy, creativity, cultural management and media organisations. Her work on creative industries, improvisation and creativity in business, and temporary organisations has influenced both scholarship and practice, with publications in leading outlets such as Harvard Business Review, The Journal of Marketing, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.”

Allegre directed AIMAC’s Strategy track from 2011 until 2022, and for the past 2 conferences has led the Doctoral Symposium that mentors emerging scholars in the creative arts field.
