CJBS Celebrates: Worldwide

Throughout September CJBS Celebrates: Worldwide 2017 events were hosted globally. Now in its fourth year, CJBS Celebrates events have become a highlight of our alumni groups’ events calendars, giving alumni a chance to share a drink or meal with others from the School and celebrate our collective successes.

The start of the month saw our celebrations kick off in China and across Europe; Dr Simon Taylor joined alumni in Beijing and Shanghai, Donnell Roy, Director of External Engagement enjoyed dinner in Zurich and Hannah Staudacher, Alumni Relations Coordinator joined incoming MBA students and alumni in Berlin. In Cambridge students from the 2017 cohorts joined alumni for a walk through the city to enjoy a drink by the river Cam.

A meal was enjoyed in South Africa and Hong Kong. Mary Priddey, Head of Alumni Relations joined alumni in Russia for the group’s now traditional river cruise. From Edinburgh to London alumni appreciated the opportunities to get together and share memories. Throughout the United States alumni raised a glass to the School in New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Director of the School, Christoph Loch joined alumni in Taipei and Singapore for their alumni celebrations. Alumni in Sydney explored an exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales and the celebrations concluded in Athens with the spectacular back drop of the illuminated Parthenon.

We are grateful to all who hosted and attended this year’s celebrations, it was great to hear your stories and share news of the School.
