Overview
MFin students may undertake an individual project or a work placement with a client as the final Summer Term assignment of their one-year programme.
The Summer Term assignment is expected to include a minimum of 6 weeks of full-time work from June to September, when there are no other lectures or assignments. All work placements are to begin at least 6 weeks prior to the final deadline date.
What types of project are possible?
Students can do a business-based consulting project hosted by a financial institution or the finance department of a non-financial organisation.
The work placement (internship) could be an ideal opportunity for students to gain valuable experience for their CV and as a first step into their new career space.
