“What made it exceptional was the unique blend of diversity, ambition and generosity within the cohort. Collaborating with classmates from all over the world, each with different professional and cultural backgrounds challenged me to refine how I think, lead and communicate.

“What surprised me most was how much I gained outside of formal lectures: in team projects, peer conversations, and the opportunity to work closely with real-world clients. The faculty, too, exceeded expectations: their depth of knowledge and genuine investment in our development made the classroom a space of real momentum and reflection.

“I came to Cambridge Judge Business School hoping to deepen my understanding of business, but I am leaving with something far more valuable. I gained confidence, and an outstanding global network of colleagues and business professionals.”

Biography

Before joining the MPhil in Management programme at Cambridge Judge Business School, Jan M Karolczak graduated from Northwestern University Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in History, with minors in Political Science and Legal Studies. Alongside his academic achievements, he competed as an NCAA Division I student-athlete on Northwestern Wildcats swimming team. Prior to that, he was a member of the Polish National Swimming Team and represented Poland in multiple international competitions. Jan brought to Cambridge the same discipline, resilience and growth mindset that shaped his athletic journey.

Following his studies at Cambridge, Jan returned to Poland to bring back the knowledge, experiences, perspectives and energy he had gained. He joined Accenture’s Data Strategy team at the Warsaw office, where he began applying the insights developed throughout the programme to help organisations make smarter, data-driven decisions.
