Having been closely involved with the programme for many years, his appointment marks a natural progression in his academic and professional journey. Dr Cole brings a strategic focus to curriculum development, industry engagement and student mentorship, ensuring the MFin continues to deliver a world-class educational experience.

Dr Cole holds a PhD and MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge, where his research explored energy economics and the resource curse in developing markets. His academic work is complemented by extensive professional experience in investment banking and consulting, where he worked on complex financial transactions and strategic projects. This dual perspective enables him to bridge academic rigour with practical insight, enriching the learning experience for MFin students.
