Professional history
Christian Martin has a broad interest in developing and commercialising leading-edge technologies that serve a greater purpose for society. This affinity has led him to business leadership roles such as Chief Business Officer, Partner, and Co-founder & Global Head of Sales and Commercial at start-up, consulting, and large multinational firms across the USA, Switzerland, France, and The Netherlands. Currently, he continues this focus as Senior Advisor at MCC GmbH, engaging with clients on topics related to commercial, strategy, business transformation, fundraising, and innovation.
Prior to earning his Executive MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School, Christian completed studies at Johns Hopkins University (MSc in Biotechnology), and the University of Maryland, College Park (BSc in Neurobiology & Physiology) as well as executive education at IMD.
Society & charity work
Christian is active in the Cambridge entrepreneurial ecosystem as a past President & CEO and current Advisory Board Chair of CUTEC (Cambridge University Technology & Enterprise Club), founder and leader of the CJBS Alumni, Basel (Switzerland) group, and member of both the OxBridge Alumni Society of Basel, and CAMentrepreneurs Switzerland chapters. Additionally, he supports youth groups which encourage social and leadership skills, personal growth, and academic success in Basel, Switzerland.
