The day was packed with insightful discussions, collaborative sessions, and invaluable lessons shared by real, local entrepreneurs. I had the opportunity to take part in a 1:1 mentoring session, join a panel discussion, enjoy a networking lunch, and end the day watching the Pitch & Judge event.
It was fascinating to see emerging ventures showcase their ideas, receive expert advice, and build the confidence and skills needed to thrive in today’s economic climate.
What stood out the most about the Accelerating Local Businesses Day was its practical focus. There was no abstract theory or lecturing – everything centred on real-world challenges, opportunities, and success stories. their energy, positivity, and the welcoming atmosphere they foster make the experience truly special.
I have already attended a second time and will be returning in the future!
