Overview
This programme is a practical 6-week online programme that helps HR leaders and people professionals like you build AI strategies and redesign work, talent systems, workforce strategy, governance and human-AI collaboration. Rather than treating AI as a standalone technology initiative, the programme equips you to lead responsible AI adoption, redesign work for human-AI collaboration and build organisational capability for sustained change.
Guided by Cambridge Judge Business School faculty, fellows and industry contributors, the curriculum for this programme explores how AI is reshaping hiring, talent systems and work design using real-world examples, hands-on activities and case studies. By the end of the programme, you will have developed a practical transformation road map to support responsible AI transformation, governance and long-term organisational capability.
Benefits and career impact
- Align AI adoption with business strategy and talent management to drive organisational transformation.
- Identify and prioritise high-impact AI use cases across HR while balancing value creation, ethics and compliance.
- Design AI-enabled talent systems that improve outcomes while protecting fairness, transparency and trust.
- Redesign work, roles and decision rights for effective human-AI collaboration while protecting employee agency, autonomy and psychological safety.
- Build workforce strategies that prepare your organisation for long-term AI adoption.
- Implement governance, cultural and change mechanisms for responsible and sustainable AI adoption and workforce well-being.

The question is not, ‘Where can we deploy AI?’ The better question is, ‘What kind of work system are we designing, and what human values must it protect?’ Rather than treating AI as a technology initiative, the People Strategy in the Age of AI programme positions it as an opportunity to redesign work, workforce systems and human-AI collaboration for lasting organisational impact.

This programme is being delivered in collaboration with Emeritus.
