The first ever married couple from the Cambridge Executive MBA programme, Irina Kim and Rob Ellis (EMBA 2010), met and fell in love whilst studying at Cambridge Judge Business School.
Irina Kim (Hughes Hall) and Rob Ellis (Christ’s College) were the first ever married couple from the Cambridge EMBA programme back in 2010. Irina travelled from Almaty in Kazakhstan and Rob lived near the River Cam by Stourbridge Common. Two years after graduating, Irina and Rob moved to London when Irina took a senior position with Citibank.
Irina and Rob married in May 2015 in the historic Skinners’ Hall in London, a place reminiscent of the ancient halls of Cambridge Colleges. Their wedding was attended by their families, friends from around the world and Cambridge classmates. Irina and Rob are blessed with a wonderful daughter, Elise Kim Ellis, two years old, and together they live in Greenwich by the river in the old town.
