Biography
Tianshu Liu was born and raised in Nei Mongol, China. He completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance through the UCD–BJUT joint programme, then earned 2 master’s degrees – the MSc in Operational Research and the MSc in Computational Mathematical Finance – at the University of Edinburgh, followed by an MPhil in Finance at the University of Cambridge (Clare Hall). Before his doctorate, he was a pre-doctoral researcher at the Cambridge Endowment for Research in Finance (CERF). He is now a first-year (probationary) PhD student in Finance at Cambridge Judge Business School (and the University of Cambridge’s King’s College) and a CERF-funded PhD Scholar. His supervisors are Professor Andrei Kirilenko (first supervisor) and Professor Lucio Sarno (second supervisor).
