Research masters

Cambridge Judge Business School offers four research masters programmes as an integral part of the route to a PhD, covering the essential coursework for the seven PhD pathways. Students without prior research masters take one of the three MPhil programmes, depending on their research interests and background. The Master of Research (MRes) programme is the foundation year of the PhD for students with prior research experience at masters level in a subject relevant for management research.

MPhil in Strategy, Marketing & Operations

A masters programme to prepare students with prior degree-level quantitative training for a PhD in management with an emphasis on quantitative research methodology, involving the design and analysis of laboratory experiments, the statistical analysis of natural experiments or large archival datasets, or the game-theoretic modelling of managerial decision processes.
