The usual route to a Cambridge Judge Business School PhD is admission via one of our research MPhil programmes.
The MPhil in Finance programme is one of the School’s specialist research MPhils and is a prerequisite to continuing on to a Cambridge Judge Business School PhD in Finance.
To continue to the PhD programme, students must achieve 70% or more overall and find a committed supervisor during their MPhil year from the School’s faculty. Applicants will also be interviewed in mid-January by the Admissions Committee, made up of faculty members, and will need to be ranked sufficiently highly to receive a conditional offer.
Please note that if you’re planning on continuing on to a PhD at the School, you will need to follow the Finance PhD pathway. Find out more about our PhD pathways
