What led you to choose the Cambridge MBA?

At first glance, Cambridge offers countless opportunities for a career in tech. But when you look closer, it’s the people of Cambridge Judge Business School who truly make it special, the kind, talented, and inspiring individuals who make up this community. Whether it’s the alumni, the admissions and programme team, or my incredible cohort-mates, everyone here embodies excellence, warmth and a genuine willingness to help one another grow.

What has been your biggest career accomplishment so far?

Landing the first financial institution client in Sri Lanka for my company has been my biggest career accomplishment. I brought together cross-border and interdisciplinary teams to develop the proposal, design the solution and deliver the product successfully. This achievement not only opened a new market for my organisation but also strengthened our global BFSI footprint. For demonstrating leadership and initiative, I was honoured with the Brightest Mind Award, a recognition that affirmed my commitment to leading with innovation and purpose.

How do you feel about receiving your scholarship?

Receiving the scholarship for the Cambridge MBA is both humbling and motivating. It represents not just recognition of my past achievements but belief in my potential to create meaningful impact. For me, it’s a reminder of the responsibility that comes with opportunity, to give back, to mentor others and to continue driving change through technology and leadership. It has reinforced my commitment to make the most of this transformative year and to contribute actively to the Cambridge community.

What do you hope to gain from the MBA over the next year?

Over the next year, I hope to better hone my strategic, analytical and leadership skills needed to bridge technology and business impact. Through the Cambridge MBA’s focus on digital transformation, global collaboration and experiential learning, I aim to refine my ability to lead innovation at scale. I also look forward to building a strong global network of peers, professors and industry leaders, exchanging ideas, learning from diverse experiences and forming lifelong connections that will continue to inspire growth and collaboration well beyond the MBA.

Where do you see the MBA taking you in your future career?

With Cambridge, even the sky is not the limit. You meet people so different from you that they challenge your perspective and raise your level, whether you want to or not, making you a better human and a better leader. I see the Cambridge MBA as the foundation for my transition into a strategic leadership role in technology, where I can merge innovation with purpose. I aspire to lead global technology initiatives that balance profitability with sustainability and inclusivity.

What does Cambridge mean to you?

Cambridge represents excellence, collaboration, tradition and impact. For me, it is not just an institution but a place where I can reinvent myself while being part of a legacy of change-makers.

Something few people know about you…

I was recently featured in the global Women of Nagarro series, on my company’s official social media channels recognizing my contribution to technology and leadership. Beyond work, I am passionate about mentoring young women in tech and volunteer actively to support education initiatives.
