“Cambridge was a turning point in how I think, work, and lead.”

The MPhil in Technology Policy didn’t just provide a strong foundation in innovation, business, technology governance, and economics – it taught me how to approach complexity with intellectual discipline and curiosity.
What made the programme so powerful was its deliberate interdisciplinarity: sitting in the same room as engineers, economists, and lawyers, each interrogating the same problems from radically different perspectives. It was in those collisions – of methods, assumptions, and priorities – that the value of synthesis really emerged.
Today, I bring that mindset to my role as Associate Director at Aon in Asia Pacific, where I consult for organisations on cyber resilience and risk strategy, and lead Cyber M&A consulting. Cyber security is not just an IT issue – it’s a question of trust, policy, and organisational design. Helping leaders understand not just the threats they face, but the systems in which those threats arise, requires more than subject-matter expertise. It demands the ability to translate, to reframe, and to ask better questions.
What Cambridge gave me was not a fixed toolkit, but a way of thinking – one that continues to shape how I work at the intersection of technology, business, and society.
