What led you to choose the Cambridge MBA?

As an alumnus once told me, Cambridge is unique for being at the intersection of rich history and cutting-edge innovation. Visiting the city for the first time, I realised how true this was and was instantly captivated by its charm. As I learnt more about the university, I feel strongly connected to its commitment to climate leadership. The programme’s tailored learning options, such as the Sustainability Pathway and relevant electives, align closely with my career passion. I am also intrigued by the innovations emerging from Silicon Fen, many of which could shape the future of our society. I believe that the Cambridge MBA will offer an exceptional platform for me to grow both professionally and personally.

What has been your biggest career accomplishment so far?

As a product owner, I led the development of an accident management system that streamlined case resolution for Tesla car owners and contributed to notable revenue growth. I was then invited to present the team’s achievements directly to Tesla’s global CIO.

How do you feel about receiving your scholarship?

Being awarded the Forté Foundation Fellowship is one of the most meaningful recognitions for me. It inspires me to lean in and help empower more women to build self-belief and unlock their potential.

What do you hope to gain from the MBA over the next year?

I look forward to fully immersing myself in the university’s world-class academic resources and vibrant ecosystem, learning from experts across disciplines. I am also excited to share the classroom with peers from diverse backgrounds. The fresh perspectives, interactive learning and hands-on projects will not only broaden my views but also forge interpersonal ties that make the Cambridge experience so distinctive.

Where do you see the MBA taking you in your future career?

Throughout my MBA journey, I hope to strengthen my strategic thinking, business acumen and people management skills. I believe the diverse cohort and team-based learning will also prepare me to lead effectively across cultures and functions in the future.

What does Cambridge mean to you?

To me, Cambridge is a place full of inspirations and new possibilities. It offers a safe space for me to explore, learn and grow as I move toward the next stage of my career and life. (And yes, I am also looking forward to trying punting on the River Cam without falling in.)

Something few people know about you…

Back in high school, I visited Japan as part of the Chinese delegation at a formal diplomatic exchange event. The programme included visits to local families, schools and factories, giving me deeper cultural insights. Even today, 14 years later, I am still in touch with some of the Japanese friends I met there, which is a lovely reminder of how lasting global connections can be.
