BioMetallica is building the future of precious metal recycling through green biotechnology. In 2022, over 62 billion kilograms of electronic waste were discarded globally containing vast quantities of valuable metals like gold, platinum, and rhodium. Current extraction methods rely on toxic chemicals and high energy input. BioMetallica uses advanced biological processes to extract these metals cleanly, efficiently, and at scale. With established labs in Singapore and Hong Kong, and a site secured for our pilot plant in Singapore, we are developing the world’s first end-to-end sustainable recycling platform for precious metals.
