Jonty is an AI agent that helps businesses win government contracts, a $2 trillion annual market in the US and $550 billion in the UK.

Government procurement is one of the largest markets in the world, yet it’s inaccessible to many businesses. SMBs are often locked out. Not because they lack the ability to deliver the services, but because the process is complex, slow, and expensive. Professional bid writers charge $5,000 to $15,000 per proposal. Monitoring portals is full-time work.

Existing tools don’t solve this. Traditional procurement SaaS still demands hours of manual input, dashboard navigation and form-filling. They’re built for full-time bid teams, not small/mid-market business owners juggling a dozen priorities.

Jonty is different. It’s a voice-first AI agent users can talk to like a colleague. Users onboard through a voice call where Jonty learns their business: capabilities, goals, bandwidth and ideal contracts. Jonty then becomes a persistent procurement coworker that proactively progresses their tender applications and users can have voice call updates with Jonty 24/7 to check progress.

Chris Maitland

Chris is a government insider turned founder. He spent 10 years in government, advising ministers on Brexit, negotiating trade deals with the US, and working directly with hundreds of businesses struggling to navigate public sector bureaucracy. He then crossed to the other side as a management consultant, leading bids for government contracts. He knows how procurement decisions actually get made, where the system breaks down and who the gatekeepers are. He’s not studying this market, he lived in it for a decade.

Kuldeep Daftary

Kuldeep built aggregation and marketplace products at scale. At Trainline, Europe’s most-used rail app, he worked on systems that pulled fragmented third-party data into a single seamless experience, exactly what Jonty does for procurement portals. At Hopin (one of Europe’s fastest unicorns) he helped build a platform that scaled to millions of users and was fundamentally about connecting the right people at the right time. Jonty’s partner-matching network is the same problem – high-value connections that don’t happen without the right infrastructure.
